Printing multiple colors for multiple fields in the same record format.

I'm printing a set of labels (2-up, 10 labels per page) that have 10 different due dates. Depending on a priority code 1-7, this date needs to be printed in different colors. (eg. 1=BLU,2=RED etc...). Is there a way to do this without using 70 different indicators? Ideally a program to system field, although not allowed.

"...not allowed"? Why would the correct way to do it be 'not allowed'? If you can't use program-to-system fields, you need to use indicators. If the fields will be output in a single I/O operation, then you're using 70 indicators. If the 2-up labels are printed one row of two at a time, then you only need 14 indicators. (Still a bad way of doing it, but it's what you've got available. Printing a row of two labels at a time is bad enough.)
