Every single time I try to print a PDF, my printer freezes. It won't delete the item waiting to be printed. I always have to restart the computer and then it will print. Each time it freezes, Visual FoxPro is listed. Why does this keep happening to me?

I have seen some strange things.. It may be the PDF is so large the printer may not have enough memory to process it efficiently. What model printer and ho large is the PDF?

Have you updated the Adobe Reader? First try to update it. Open Reader, then click Help menu, click Check For Updates. Or check if you are using latest version. Also open the Task Manager, and check at the time of printing (PDF) how many processes are running, if possible kill them for that time only and try to do the same job.

Moreover, you can try other PDF Reader (temporary) instead of Adobe PDF Reader. Check if that helps.

What type of printer / model and how large is the PDF you are trying to print? IS this a black and whit printer and does the PDF contain colors? You may need to make a change to print using grayscale.

Each time it freezes, Visual FoxPro is listed. "Listed"? Listed where? What OS version are you running?

    OK looked at this again..
Are you trying to create a PDF file from Visual FoxPro or do you already have a PDF you cannot print ?

Is this happened only for PDF printing? Have you tried to print other types of documents like Word/Excel files? If possible, you can copy the texts of PDF file and paste in Wordpad/Word and try to print from there.
