Go to the website of the maker of the printer, go to download drivers, when it ask you for the OS, give it your version, and it will give you the drivers of the OS you are using, that is, if the printer is not 20+ years old.

    May be it depends on the printer driver which has to be compatible with windows have a look at this resource printer drivers.

    Most should still work. What brand of printer and connection are you using? You may just need to go to the mfg web site and download the new compatible drivers. Let us know how you make out.

    I have to agree with Harisheldon's thoughts on this. It is possible that if you cannot the exact model of printer on the website, you might be able to use the drivers from another model in the same series if the different model is supported by Windows 7. This is a workaround and is not guaranteed to work.
