My ERP software provider is unable to get Linux to "print" sample data to OPTIO DCS Samples. They say Linux does not like to print to a file, and I am left unable to "print" sample data to Optio DCS Samples.  Need this to work . Very hard to create or modify Optio DCS mapping without the ability to grid print the new or changed data.

Linux server

I don't get the problem. "Printing" to a file with Linux can be done in a number of ways, some of which depend on what packages are installed.

Of course, Optio DCS Samples may have some particular formatting requirements that at least partially excludes Linux. Perhaps because the developers are limited in background.

"They say Linux does not like to print to a file", assuming They means they are the expert of this system. If they said that, then most probably this is not possible. You can try somehow third party software, however before installation careful about Linux dependencies.

If they are the expert of the system & said like this, probably this is not possible. You can try something third party software depending on Linux dependencies.

    Think this is solved.
Looks like they did not install the Linux version of Optio DCS
They just copied the files from the Unix server
    So consider this issue closed
