Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

The explanation is defined here. There must be an OVRPRTF pointing to an invalid OUTQ and LIB.

Output queue &6 in &7 not found.

You could check file QPJOBLOG. DSPFD QPJOBLOG and look at the OUTQ parameter. Another thing is to look for overrides on file QPJOBLOG.  DSPJOB OPTION(*FILOVR)

Abar1 look at the file description for QPJOBLOG. The outq that is stated in there shoudl exist. You can create an Outq withoutn the need of having a printer attached.

Is this a normal configured printer or one that is set up via a client access session? It may be that session needs to be started for it to work.

Mmmmm, I don't know. How can I know that? And how can I restart a session if needs to be started?

Try doing a WRKDEVD on the printer name and see how the printer is defined. Is it a *LAN, *LCL,*RMT or other? Does it have an associated IP address?

Have you checked that the QEZJOBLOG outq exists? Normally it would exist in QUSRSYS. That library has to be in the library list. Your CPF4165 message tells you that it wants to put a spool file on an OUTQ that does not exist. Could also be security related. If there is no authority to the OUTQ it looks like it is not existing.

You may also want to check the user profile for the default OUTQ and make sure it still exists.

i used wrkoutq to delete prt3 but when i worked with wrkdevd i found it there .

Hey ABAR do you still get the error? The error is just stating that the Output Queue is missing. You do not have to start a writer servicing the Output Queue. Certainly you are not printing all the JOBLOGS from your system.

PDRAEPEL, in fact I still have the problem. How can I know the writer that is making the problem?

The issue you are having does not have anything to do with a writer. As I understand you have jobs that state that a Joblog could not be produced because of CPF4165 which says OUTPUT QUEUE X In Library Z not found. Once output QUEUE X in Lib Z is created and there is enough authority to it everything should work just fine.

Just thinking - Check the JOBD used by the user profile. Make sure the Output queue is defined properly.
Also check the parameter for "Job log output"
(DSPSYSVAL QLOGOUTPUT) as to when the joblog is created either *jobend, *joblogsvr or *pnd

The error message defines the precise reason for the failure.

you can either (re)create the missing object as an immediate fix
    or
work your way through from user profile / jobdescriptions / application programs to discover what is injecting the invalid object names, and correct that.
Always good practice if an application is hard coding OUTQ names to do a CHKOBJ for the outq to ensure it exists, and take avoiding action if not found.
