Prevent Firefox from updating automatically

At my job, we just upgraded to the latest version of Firefox (Quantum I think it's called) since we have automatic updates enabled. But now none of my add-ons work and I'm not happy. At my house, I have the same add-ons so I don't want this update to go through. How can I prevent the automatic update from happening? Just for a little while to give me time to update the add-ons.

You can disable auto update from Firefox settings. Check that settings and make sure that auto update is off. If you worried about FF extensions, on Firefox address bar, type as. about:config and press enter key. Click Yes, if prompts. Now you see a list of page. on search bar type as. extensions.update.autoUpdateDefault and make it false or toggle it.
