I have a peculiar problem ! I have written a PHP code which based on session tracking. Basically, The PHP code is for, if a user open an IE when he/she log in and after successful, he/she never log in from the same computer using IE till log out. But whenever I try there is a session error shown in IE. IE version is 6. After work around I got there r some bugs in IE6 for session tracking/errors. I got an  alternative way. If I use Firefox or IE7 or upgrade the SP2 to SP3 the problem is solved. I have more or less 250 users, so it is not possible to provide the alternative solution to all users. Because, maximum users r using Windows XP SP2 with IE6. I am looking for a solution, please help me. Thanks--

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

<i>Most probably, there is a problem of cookie.</i>…. Sorry for my late answer !
Just used session instead of cookie and the problem was solved. Now it runs in IE6 also without using alternatives.

Thanks–

Hi Rechil, I won't be able to offer any help because I don't use PHP, but I would suggest including the exact error messages and your code. As you know, the more details you provide, the better your chances of getting useful answers. Best, CarlosDL

Thanks Carlosdl for ur response. I am working around the problem. Actually, there is no error message, when a user login with correct user name and password, the page again returns to the login screen. Again he /she puts the exact login and pass but it again asks for the same. Most probably, there is a problem of cookie. I will revert back on the same discussion.
