Are you removing and reinstalling the card frequently for backup purposes? Also I find some brands better than other SanDisk is my preferred choice. What is the actual error you are getting?
Assuming this is only one card that you tried. Have you tried the same card on another phone, if any? When you inserted the card on your phone, you can check if the card shows as a drive in laptop/PC while connecting the phone with laptop through data cable.
It is just 2 months. So assuming it is under warranty. Don't play with this card. It is better to carry the card to the dealer/vendor and ask for test the card again.
What make and model phone and what type and size of SD Card are you trying to use? It's possible there could be some kind of compatibility issue. Some phones may not support very large SD cards.
When you purchased this card, have you brought the phone with you and checked if the card is compatible or not with this phone?if no, you can carry the phone along with the card and ask the vendor to check the same.
