Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.
It also depends on the type of battery in the phone.
Here are a few tips on how to prolong the battery life.

For NiCd (Ni Cad) discharge batteries that are in regular use to almost dead every 1–3 months to prevent battery capacity memory. This also applies to lots of partial charges (meaning not to full capacity before charging again)

For Lithium ion keep battery cool. Don’t leave it in hot places. BEst to operate when still at least 25% charge left and limit the use of ultra-fast charging and high loads (most Li-ion). This can damage the battery in the long run.

A damaged charger will most likely be worse, because it could be providing an uneven flow of energy or supplying unexpected levels of current.

Unless you watch your devices screen to see it the charging is steady and constant you may never know you have a problem with a faulty charger. The only tell tale sign would be if it took 2 hours to charge the device to full in the beginning and now after 2 hours you have considerably less than a full charge, I'd consider getting a new charger. Most charger today I have seen and used have no indicator light. On top of that possibility a lot of people are just charging off their USB port. If they are doing this constantly, they may have an issue with the cable if they keep bending it for storage all the time as well.
