Persistant cookie value not consistent

I have a capture form where I get user information. I save this information to persistent cookies. I then open an ecommerce app and perform a transaction. Successful transaction returns the user to a page that is part of the calling app. I then read the cookies. In Chrome it works but crashes on other browsers. It appears that cookie is looking for the values in the wrong place.
The path shown in the error message below is actually on the development box but the error was raised on a different machine running the published version in Chrome and IE respectively and as I said, in Chrome it works.
Below is full error message in IE

Since Microsoft recommends not using IE, you might consider not using it. More specifically, some of the elements used in your web pages appear not to be supported by IE.

Without seeing the page code, it might be difficult for anyone to say what the problem is (other than simply restating the error message).

What Windows version is there? If it is Windows 10, you can use EDGE for this purpose & check the result.
