I copied several music CDs to my computer that have .pdi extension. I cannot play the files any longer. Can I convert these files back to music files that I can play?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You can check site like FILE.ORG or FILEINFO.COM for programs that can open a file with an extension you enter.. A PDI file extension seems to be created when ripping a DVD for the most part and I don’t recall music being stored on a DVD , a CD yes but not a DVD format. If the disk is can play the music files that are on it you may want to find a convert program to same them in a more standard format like MP3 or WMA.

Moreover, .pdi file is an associated file of main disk image file that created in other multimedia software. Sometimes MS PowerPoint can use this types of files for importing/ exporting of course be opened with that program. The main concept is he source that you got the file.
