    Are you opening the PDF via Safari or EMAIL - if so there should be built in readers...... If not you may need to download a PDF reader APP

    First try to convert pdf ebooks into epub formats by using Calibre SW and hopefully, it helps to solve this issue. Or u can use GoodReader / Stanza for the same purpose.
