May’be u have a firewall or DMZ configuration that is causing the problem. Guess ur iNotes access is in a DMZ or has a firewall in front. U may try sending a .jar file or even an .exe file and try opening via iNotes to find out for sure. If u are blocking PDF files, u’ll most likely be blocking EXE files.

Click Preferences > Mail tab > Make sure the name of the mail owner is specified and then
Save and Close
