Hi There if you want to remove the administrator password or any password at that matter download a program called Hirens boot disk. This software has many features including editing and removal of logon passwords. Simply download the iso and burn it to disk. Then boot the machine from the cd/dvd drive and follow the steps it is really user friendly it hasn't failed me yet. I use it when i have to get in to pc's when users forget passwords or simply are not around to give me the passsword. Another progarm with the same effect is called kon boot this program doesn't remove the password is simply injects code into the SAM file leaving the password blank once you reboot the machine everything is back to normal your password is back and active BUT i have often had the OS screaming at me when using kon boot i suggest hirens boot disk. I hope this helps you out.

In Answer Wiki: the details I provided, if it wont let to click right try out this.... NOTE: U can try to gain access to the account using System Restore. Note that in order for this to work, System Restore had to be enabled and there has to be a restore point that was created before u lost access. If u don’t have a Windows 7 disc, u have to boot into the Advanced Boot Options screen and then choose Repair ur computer. 1. Insert Windows 7 CD / DVD into the drive 2. Choose the Language, Time and current format, and keyboard 3. Then click Next NOTE: If u booted from the cd / dvd, u’ll see the Repair your computer link at this step 4. Now choose the operating system u want to repair. (ofcourse Windows 7) 5. Then click Next, and click the System Restore link and find a restore point that u want to use Remember: Make sure to pick a restore point that is sufficiently past the date when u lost access to ur Administrator account. Restart ur computer and see if u can log in Thanks-----
