Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It could be something as simple as the sound setting in you system control panel not pointing to the right speakers. Try looking there or if these are Bluetooth speakers make sure the option has not been disabled. If neither of those two options work come back with the speaker type and PC OS.

I had issues like this in the past and my fix was to move my power strip. When I was gaming late nights, sometimes accidentally kicked it and it would shut off my speakers and subwoofer.

    What OS is there?

Frist check if there is any loose connection. Check the audio driver if there is any problem. If that worked erstwhile, in between have you updated your system.

Apparently my sound devide on my desk top is a Realtek while my speakers system is a Logitech. But doesn't the sound/audio originate from the Desk Top, audio device Realtek?

Other than advising to check/verify all cabling, check related speaker settings and ensure appropriate drivers are installed, there's practically nothing that can be done to troubleshoot electronics through an Internet forum. A qualified technician is needed if you need more than trial and error.

Uninstall/ Reinstall of audio driver may work. Is there built-in sound on your system? Have you tried to check audio without speakers?
