Hi, I need to know if there is a setting which allows my delegate to add an item to my calendar, and then once the item is added a notification is sent to me so I know the new item is there?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

To add an item to your boss’s calendar in Outlook 2010 and trigger an alert to remind him or her of the appointment, go to the Shared Calendars option. Then, go to Tools > Rules and Alerts > Manage Rules & Alerts. Click the New Rule button. Select to start from a blank rule. Ascertain that “Check messages when they arrive” is selected. Click “Next” to go to the conditions screen. Verify that no condition is selected. Click “Next.” Click “Yes” to indicate that the rule should be applied to all. Select the option to display a desktop alert. Click “Finish.”

I will be sharing a calendar with the my office of 30. Anytime ANYONE adds an events to the "Events" calendar I would like to be notified.
    Is this possible?

I too would like to know the answer to kwilliamsMA's question. It slightly boggles my mind that this doesn't appear to be an option yet whenever anyone uses a shared calendar, it is so important to be notified when someone adds an event to help put it on your radar.

If someone has a solution I'd love to hear. Thanks!
