Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Offline folders will also create an OST file.

1. Go to Tools -> Account Settings

2. Select your exchange account

3. Click on Change

4. Click on More Settings

5. Select the advanced tab

6. Click on Offline Folder File Settings

7. Click Disable offline use

This will work

When the Exchange server, database, or mailbox associating with the offline folder (.ost) file is reset, or there is an inconsistency between the Exchange mailbox and the OST file, then if you are running Outlook 2002 or older versions, or running Outlook 2003 and newer versions but have Cached Exchange Mode disabled, and choose to work online, then Outlook will create a new OST file for the new mailbox. In general, Outlook has two offline modes, Exchange Cached mode & Offline Folders. While after Outlook 2013 the scenario is changed. while there is only cached mode. However, it is needed to disable offline folders along with cached mode to prevent it.
