So how do you open one ATT001.txt file email attachment?

Any txt editor should open these files but the thing is they do not really contain anything. It’s created by the email system and most common when the email comes from a cell phone. Outlook may be trying to patch up broken MIME encoding and generating the bogus ATT file attachment

    This is an old thread. Have you tried to download this file? Who sent this one, like from external source/ within your company? What type of mail client you have like Outlook/Gmail/Yahoo or other mail client? Or it is your smartphone related? Is your mail configuration sets as 'Plain Text'?
