Networks in Microsoft Windows Network

I set a server up on our domain, installed all updates and patches, and then removed it from the domain, and made it a member of its own domain. It is on a completely different (external) network. Now, the new domain name still shows up in Microsoft Windows Network, even though it is no longer connected to the network. I manually removed it from WINS, and verified it is not found anywhere else on the network. I have rebooted the DC, and turned off File And Print Sharing on the server. What can I do to remove this network, and keep other networks from showing up? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

When the resources show up in your network neiborhood its from the functionality of all windows machines where they aer looking for the existance of a master browser if there is not one then the machine may make its self the master browser for the LAN. How to delete? you can make sure all client machines are not set to be master browser for starters. Its a reg key. Here is what you need to read up on.
