I recently installed an ESXi 4.1 server onto a bootable SDcard for an HP Proliant dl360 G7 (the SD socket is on the main board in the server). I then attach to our NetApp filer via FC/HBA - Everything seemed to go well but... It seems that whenever I reboot the server the VMware Management Network configuration (including the password, the IP info and such) erases back to the defaults. This is my first server using only the SD as local storage and everything else being virtual but I have built many other boxes with the same configuration type using a local HDD - and never seen this happen before. Anyone have any idea why this is or how to stop it? It sure is a pain to have to re-input all that info every time... ha-ha.
Thanks -
