My mouse keeps pausing after Windows 10 update

I just updated my Windows 10 operating system, however after doing so, my mouse began lagging. It pauses every time I try to move it and it's really disruptive. I boot the system in safe mode and suddenly it works which leads me to believe some kind of start up item or service is clashing with it. Please help. Does anyone know what might be causing it? And before you ask I've already tried many other options.

First you can check if there is any pending update in update history of windows 10. If yes, do it right now or start from initial stage. Specially look for updates kb3140743/kb3140768, as somedays ago I also faced the same issue. Now go to device manager, and check for drivers, not only mouse but others also. You can uninstall the mouse driver and again reinstall the same by rebooting the system.
