Contact to an HTC service center for remedy. Probably, the battery itself is not OK or has problem.

Sounds like your battery cannot hold a full charge. I'd have someone take a look at it.

How old is your HTC? Batteries do not last forever, I notice my tablet and laptop do not hold a charge as long as they use to. You should ask you local wireless dealer, or one of the kiosk in the mall, if they can replace the battery.

If your phone dies that quick, I do not know if they will be able to transfer your current data and information over to a new phone, in a worst case scenario.

Do you have you data backed up somewhere?

If you have warranty then it is good. Go and get new battery. If not buy one new battery.
