When I want to select option 9 from using WRKOBJOWN for a large number of objects and don't want to enter option 9 for each object, but en-mass, what function key can I use after I enter option 9 on the first object and using that function key will auto-fill 9 through the whole list of objects?

WRKOBJOWN doesn't have a 'Repeat' function. The F-key 'Help' text would show it if it did. This isn't a system-level function; it must be coded into an application. The PDM is an example of where it was coded.

I would possibly run DSPUSRPRF USRPRF( usrname ) TYPE(*OBJOWN) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) to build a list, and then run a trivial CL to execute CHGOBJOWN for each list item. The list might be edited before that second step.

If the ownership is being changed and the current owner is going to be deleted, new ownership can be assigned on the DLTUSRPRF command.

Use F13 (or Shift-F1) after entering the desired option for the first one you want to select. On some IBM selection panels, e.g., in PDM,, this will cause all later items in the to repeat the entered option. It will show in the list of F-keys and be described in the 'Help' when it's available.

Changing ownership of all objects can be done by CHGOWN OBJ('/QSYS.LIB/LIBRARY_NAME.LIB/*') NEWOWN(OWNNAME)

This is what I ended up using instead.

Other than filling one screen with 9's and doing a cut and paste I don't think there is a repeat like in the PDM application.
