I do a lot of independent vendors security assessments such as these...Sometimes for the vendor/developer and sometimes for the end user. This is a very detailed topic, especially around MFA. It all revolves around using tools such as a web browser, proxy, hex editor, etc. combined with a malicious mindset to see what can be manipulated (and how) for ill-gotten gains. You might consider contacting the vendor directly and seeing if they have ever had an independent assessment/penetration test of their product or system. If you don't ask they won't know that you care.
