I need to respond to a JOB that is in MSGW status (under QSYSOPR - MSGQ), I am trying to achive using 'SNDRPY" command, but could not make it ....due to the lack of authority for the MSGQ (QSYSOPR). I wondering .. how does the system allows to responded interactively but not possible using the SNDRPY... let me know if I am missing something and help me.

I suggest you read the SNDRPY command help text. The SNDRPY depends on a message key. That message key can only be retrieved by "Receiving" the error message. (Parm MSGKEY).

If this is a one time deal why not reply from the screen/console?
If this is an ongoing condition that keeps happening you can fix by doing a MONMSG to handle the condition.

Yes, I had gone through the details of SNDRPY and used QUSRJOBI to extract the message key and it is working fine, and I could see all the other relevant information about the job that needs to be responded.

I am trying to respond to a message wait from remote response (mobile) and handle it pragmatically.

How is "Inquiry message reply (INQMSGRPY)" set for the jobD in question?  Check out the help text for this command parm.  It may help.
