We've been setting up Git on one of our HDDs but in the near future, all of our Git repositories will be on another HDD. Is it possible to move these local work Git repositories to the new HDDs by just dragging and dropping? We are currently working on a Mac OS X Lion and we're setting the repos for multiple Macs that use a NAS server at the primary home. Thank you very much.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Yes, all of the local repository information and repo-specific configuration is stored within the folder/directory itself (in a subdirectory called .git), so as long as you include that subdirectory, you can simply copy and paste or drag and drop with no issues.
