When i was using my desktop computer, somet hing appears on the screen, it is a  blue screen with a messege on it. All i can remember are the words "first time restart your computer" and then if not "press f8 into safe mode", i really dont know what to do about that problem so i turn off the avr. And then, when i open it again, the monitor says no signal and the system unit keeps beeping. Please, what is the problem? Can i do something to fix it?

    What is "the avr"?

Also, did you install or add any new device or piece of hardware recently?

It could be a number of issues. It may be a lose connection. Check the cable connection from the pc to the monitor. If you have moved the computer recently it may be something internal that loosened up like the video card or another component. The last thing I can think of is you computer may have been shut down during a windows update. We need a bit more information on your computer like what model and operating system is it and what type of anti virus software you may be running. Let us know if any new software was installed or downloaded. This could be an issues if it's not compatible with your system. This way we can determine the best steps to provide you to do a possible recovery from a restore point if possible or correct the problem another way. But check the connections first.
