Try this. It might help.
Create System Restore Point before proceeding further. If you don't know how to do that use below link for instructions...

1) Install Windows 7 SP 1, if it is not installed. This will solve most of the problems.
2) Try updating chipset drivers if option 1 doesn't work.
3) If opt 1 & 2 doesn't work restore the system to previous restore point using "Windows System restore", when your system was working fine... (This is only possible if you have those system checkpoint available on the system)
