In my Microsoft Word document, I make several custom style changes. But when I passed it along to a coworker, all the style changes are changed (different). Alignment, font color, everything. Why is this happening? Thanks.

Probably, the created might overwritten by the styles of the same name on the co-worker's machine. If you haven’t specified a template this problem may occur. It is better to set the path to the template in documents. Also, make sure when sending the document(s) that automatically update styles is turned off. through developer tab for Word version 2007-2010.

If you are using custom fonts that the coworker does not have on their local computer it will replace them with a default. What format is the file you are passing on, DOC, DOCX, RTF, or another? Is the coworker using the same version of Word?
