Every single time I try to open a Microsoft Word 2016 document, this message keeps appearing: Word hyphenation is not available. Run the Microsoft Office Setup program, install this feature an try again. I'm not seeing this feature at all in the setup. I'm very annoyed. What should I do?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Are you sure it’s a Word doc? It may have been created by another application like Open Office where it may be valid. If you still have issues you can try Open Office and see if that will open the document.

From what I have seen it may be a language issue with the document.

Open the document in word. Click OK, if you see the error message. Now click on Page layout under page setup > Hyphenation > Hyphenation options. When you see the popup menu that appears, uncheck/deselect the checkbox for Automatically hyphenate document & again deselect the checkbox for Hyphenate words in caps. Now click OK. Close MS Word and again open the document. Hopefully the error message will be not appeared.
