So I'm using Microsoft Excel on a Mac (version 16.15). When I'm looking at a specific cell, the formula bar is showing me the cell address (but not the cell content or formulas). I turned the bar on/off with no luck. Why is it not showing me the content?

Do the formulas still work? Is this a spreadsheet you created or had sent to you? It may be an authority issue or a number of other things. We need a little more info on how it was created and if there is any security to prevent changes on it.

You can remove Excel preferences in Excel which can be helpful. Or try to start the Excel in Safe mode, if possible.
