I'm not sure why my issue is happening so I need to turn to the experts. I've begun to notice that my Microsoft Excel 2010 is always on top of other windows. Is there a certain bug that I should be aware of? If not, any way to fix this?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

This single-line AutoHotKey script can be used to toggle the always-on-top behavior of the current window whenever Windows-A is pressed:

#a:: Winset, Alwaysontop, , A

It may vary a bit depending on your Windows version, if the above does not work let us know.

    First check if multiple instance of Excel is running at the back ground. For this purpose, open task manager observe the list of process. If you find, just highlight it by right click and click end task. Also check if the task bar is locked or not.

    Also you can try to disable addins by opening Excel then navigate to Options and uncheck addins then click OK. Moreover you can press alt + tab together to access multiple window.
