I'm working on a huge project for my department. We have an Access 2007 database and currently works on my PC (and it has .ACCDB formatted files). I sent it to a co-worker (who has Access 2013) and he tried to open it: All he's getting is compatibility errors. What should we do here? Please help!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Try this

To convert an Access 2000 or Access 2002 – 2003 database (.mdb) to the .accdb file format, you must first open the database by using Access 2007, Access 2010, Access 2013, or Access 2016, and then save it in the .accdb file format. Click the Access 2000 or Access 2002 – 2003 database (.mdb) that you want to convert.

This is according to the Microsoft site.

Access 2013 uses the same file format as Access 2007 and Access 2010 for storing its databases. When you sent the file how did you send it that? Check either the file integrity is OK after reaching the file to the co worker. Or tell your co worker to run repair utility for the same.
