We have a production db (Oracle 11rg2) on one AIX 7 server. The database is in archive mode. We another server with exactly the same configuration (also the DB, filesystems, etc ) as the production server. We did a cold backup of the production server and restored it to the "backup" server. So the production server (oracle) generates every day new archive logs, which we transfer via ftp to the other server. Our question is how to apply the archived logs received via ftp to the database to get it back on the same level as the production database.
