For Oracle, is there a way I can make the comparison operators (such as LIKE) case-insensitive? I know the default is case-sensitive but I was hoping I can flip that?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

For LIKE you can simply convert the column to upper or lowercase before doing the comparison.

Something like:

WHERE upper(your_text_column) LIKE '%SOMETHING%';
