We have this batch file that's been running for a long time. We need to make some changes (actually add more commands at the end of it). Would it be possible to do this? We're worried because the file is always running.

What hardware and OS are you using? If this is always running, what is it doing?

Can you provide more information on the OS and possibly post what the code looks like so we can determine the best approach?

A Windows/DOS batch file is a script that runs one command after another in a serial fashion. I'm probably overlooking something but I'm not aware of any way to make a change and then resume where you left off - at least in Windows. You'll likely have to start the batch file over again.
