LotusScript to create a document from text file, but the record of data comes with tilde separator and when I am reading a record line by line it fails to fetch the data when a data string contains comma. How to allow comma as a valid string?
For eg. my record in text file comes as: abs~def,eft~rewyru hj,uiwueir~xyz
Input #fileNum%, rowdata
I am splitting the rowdata by tilde and trying to achieve all the data. How do I do this?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I would try one of these options:

1) change your rowdata variable to be a variant, instead of a string, or;

2) use this code instead of what you have above

Line Input #fileNum%, rowdata
