Lotus Notes local backup

Hi there, I'm testing Storegrid to backup a Lotus Notes Server (Databases) to a local drive without stopping the Lotus Notes Domino server. The backup reports are showing that the backup is successful. When I restore the databases in a local disk I get 2 files, one file named DATABASE.NSF and a second file with the name DATABASE.NSF.STGD. These 2 files are not to see for all databases. Mainly in the ones that are big in size and with a lot of changes. If I open the file DATABASE.NSF I get the original file (from the first backup). In some cases, I'm not able to open the file because it is corrupted. Can you help us with this issue? Thanks

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.
Or, for the non-advertising version of an answer, you could try shutting down Notes, opening a command prompt, changing to the Notes directory (e.g., c:\program files\ibm\lotus\notes), and running the fixup utility on the archive file (e.g., nfixup archive\mymailfile.nsf)

If you are unable to fix the problem using inbuilt tools, then to repair Lotus Notes database, there is NSF Repair Kit available in the market which can help you to fix the issues in your database file.

You may test tool: http://www.nsf.repair/
