Lotus Notes compatibility with Microsoft Outlook

I am currently researching the compatibility issues between Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook.  My current company uses Lotus Notes relase 8.5.1 for mail, address, calendar and scheduling.  The company is tightly tied to Lotus Notes because of other applications, so the possibility of retiring the system is slim.

I would like to know if there is a way to integrate this version of Lotus Notes with Microsoft Outlook (either 2007 or 2010) so that the functionality litsted above (mail, address, calendar and scheduling) could be access with the Outlook client, but the backend is still managed by Lotus Notes.

I believe there are productivity gains that can be achieved by using Outlook in combination with OneNote and I would like to know if the above is possible before proposing that our company investigate the feasability of this move.

Hello,

You can achieve by DAMO.

DoDownload
the DAMO(
Lotus Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook
(DAMO) 8.0.2
)

C1K37EN.exe (is the file name).

You can find online documentation on how to proceed.

    When talking about compatibility, I would say the only thing you can do to make the Lotus Notes compatible with Outlook is to export the Lotus Notes NSF file to Outlook PST file format. You can do it manually by first exporting the NSF to a CSV file and after that export this CSV to Outlook. NSF can't be directly exported to Outlook.
    Also, if you are not technically sound, you can use professional software to do this. I am also not that much technical person. So, I used this NSF to PST Converter for the above process. Hope it helps.

    Yes, there are so many tools to do the same job. But before buy/ purchase it is recommended that check its utility or ask for a demo. Cause most of them are not fully satisfied. Here is a link for almost same issue, https://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/itanswers/notes-to-pst-conversion/
