Logical File record deletion

Can we delete a record through logical file and will it reflect in the physical file?

A logical file contains not data. It is just a view over the PF data. So when you are manipulating data using an LF, it is actually happening in the PF.

    As long as the LF is not a Join Logical you can delete records from the LF. The deletion is reflected in the PF

    Logical files contain the access path info for the data in the physical. There is no actual data in the logical.
