Goldmine 6.7
I use goldmine 6.7 and as of midnight I cannot access the software. My entire business runs on it. We are a 24 hours answering service. When I try to open gold mine it tells me waiting for permission to log in. Any suggestions?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If it is waiting to log in, what are you logging into, a local or a remote system? If it’s a remote system they may be down for some unknown reason. There could be a problem with your ISP carrier. I use to have a lot of issues with dropped service from my old DSL provider. There could be a few other reasons like a possible virus or DoS attack. Run an antivirus program just to be safe if you are not running one currently. If this is a small business with a small network of 1 few users, you may want to reboot your network. If you still have issues provide us with some more details and what you have tried and the results.

First of all take backup of Goldmine directory in a safe location. Now locate for license file of this software. Probably this is under main directory. After getting this file, make a copy of this file and keep it in an another location, and remember this location. Now rename the license file extension as .dbf and try again the same.
