How do I list all the libraries used by DB2 in an AS/400 environment?

Thanks for coming to ITKE

Objects on the AS400 have a last used date. Unfortunately the object for the library does not get that field updated. Objects within the library have the date updated. A library is a special object. What I believe you are after  would be the *LIBL (library List) the your processes are using. Library List can be set on a User Signed, a Job Description, an individual program and more.

Can you give us more information on why you need this data and how you applications are running.

As long as you have the proper authority to all the libraries you can do a WRKOBJD *ALL/*ALL *LIB and send it to an *OUTFILE and you can query the results. Are you looking for something specific?

Thanks for your response. I need this because I have an AS/400 system with DB2 but the 21 option backup take a lot of time. Instead of this, I would like to backup only the necessary data.
