I have two different Microsoft Excel workbooks that I would like to link together. Meaning - I would like to link the cell (in one workbook) to a cell in the second workbook. So when I make a change in one, the change is made in the other. Does that make sense? How can I do it?

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Calculation tab.

To recalculate all dependent formulas—except data tables—every time you make a change to a value, formula, or name, click Automatic except tables.
