My laptop now is refusing to connect to Wi-Fi but is under LAN. What should I do?

It almost sounds like the wireless system that you are seeing is password protected.  Basically, you need to know the password in order to join.  That is one, the other issue is that the person who administers the wireless router may need to input your MAC address into the router to allow it to join the network.  Either way, you need to talk to the person who owns the router.

    Might be Lan/ ethernet driver is installed but wifi driver is not installed properly ! Have you checked that. If wifi installed properly, have you proper connection tariff with user/pass. More details are required.
