ComparestringOrdnal cannot be located in the dynamic link library Kernel 30. Please help. This originates in Outlook.EXE - entry point not found. I cannot access the internet nor emails of course

    This is MS XP old version of Windows, but what version of Outlook are you using now? Have you updated recently? Either software or OS? If you updated, check this update was completed else you can try to uninstall the recent update and see if it helps. Also check the antivirus settings/update method if any.

    Hi, thanks so much for taking the time. I'm a clutz at computers so please bear with me. I am using 2010 Microsoft Office and Microsoft downloads security updates automatically every week so I cannot judge which, if any caused the problem. Kaspersky says the PC is clean. I used Restore and it works until I switch off, then the post appears again.
