Hello sir, I've got a problem joining a client to Windows Server 2008 through a network cable. Can you please help me. It is showing me following error: An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a domain controller in the domain being joined has failed.

So, you already have a network and working domain, right?
You need to change the necessary tcp/ip settings in the network connection properties, among other things.
We would need to know the steps you took exactly, to try to understand what you did wrong.
Have you done this before?
