I have different Microsoft Excel worksheets in two different files. It includes names, IDs and other data. One worksheet is a master list that includes all information and the second sheet only includes names, IDs and an address. I need to use the second sheet to filter the first. Also, I need to include information from the first worksheet alongside the addresses from the second sheet. I understand I can do this using inner JOIN but I need to do it in Excel. Is there a way to join the worksheets? Thank you very much.

Do I understand there are 2 separate excel workbook files with different file names? You want to basically do a look up from one cell to the second file with the second file name, using a specific worksheet name, and then a row/column to get matching data. If all the worksheets are in the same workbook it's fairly easy. I have never had any luck with linking data across multiple files.
