The PTF's required for the change to daylight savings time say that the PTF's can be installed without an IPL, but when installing the PTF's, an error message says that one can not be installed because some jobs have a lock on the java virtual machine and that these jobs should be ended. But how does one find out what jobs are using the JVM?
You don't say what i5/OS version/release you're using, so any specific suggestions might be useless. We can at least figure V5R3 or higher since you mention timezone support. In any case, consider looking for any jobs that have obtained a lock on library QJAVA. Those jobs might not be using the JVM, but they can be candidates at least.
