I would like to set up a number of drives where user A can access folder A and User B can access folder B. Neither user can access the other users folder. I have tried making the folder authority specific to a user with public exclude. This has made not prevented access. I assume this is the credentials used on the PC when mapping the drives. Any help appreciated.

Yes it is.. This works as per the credentials provided while mapping the drives. Remember, You might need to provide credentials every time you restart your PC.

This would normally work unless the user profiles have another source of Authority. Check Special Authorities, group profile settings.
