    Hi,

Yes, PGP encryption is available for IBM I, which include a number of commands  for performing  encryption or decryption functions directly  on the IBM I and these commands are placed in CL programs. Such encryption provides a solution which helps to protect sensitive data across endpoints, removable storage  media  & email, against loss or unauthorized access.

I guess that the above info will quench your thirst. If you are in the need of more information for the same, please let me know.

    Thanks & Regards

    Ashish@S

If you want to automate PGP encryption/decryption natively and push/pull transfers, you may want to check out GoAnywhere MFT: http://www.goanywheremft.com/

GoAnywhere also works on other platforms including Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris, etc.

You should consider PGP File Encryption from Townsend Security.

What exactly do you mean by "command line encryption"? Do you have specific use-cases in mind?
